New York State CCIA 18 hour Pistol Permit License Class

We limit our class to 10 students to ensure everyone receives the proper training,  so secure your spot now.

18hr. Conceal Carry Pistol Permit License Class

This is a 3 part program totaling 18hours.

The entire 18hrs. must be completed in person. You are required to pass the multiple choice & true false question test and  the mandatory shooting qualification to receive a certificate of completion as per the NYS guidelines .

C&M Defensive Training has been approved to issue certificates to residents in the following counties

Due to the excessive forms required we don't provide training for Rockland County residents  at this time

If you are applying for a Premises only permit or  have a pistol permit and Orange County is requesting that you take a safety class you will need to register for part 1 of our NYS  CCIA Pistol permit License  class. Part 1 is always the first day of the scheduled monthly class .

One of the most important things each shooter will receive from this  open shoot  is  quality instruction using our proven methods  that will  enhance your shooting skills and make you a safer and responsible firearm owner

Please arrive at the range with all firearms unloaded and in a case

Shooters must bring  the correct 

Ammunition for each firearm

Hearing protection

Proper eye wear for eye protection 

Targets will consist of paper, metal and clay 

Distances will range from 10 yards out to 100 and 150 yards for shooters.

All firearms must be sighted in prior to attending this shoot

Shotgun ammunition should be shot size #7 or # 8

Defensive Pistol Tactics

The next DPT class will be scheduled soon 

All 3  dates start promptly at 11am.

The defensive pistol tactics course will prepare you in the event  a defensive situation  occurs .  Our tips and techniques  are designed for civilians  and will act as a starting point for you to begin the  more advanced training courses we offer.

A few of the topics that we will  cover 

 A.   Demonstrate the safe handling of a pistol

B.  Demonstrate proper loading and unloading techniques

C.    Proper techniques of the   concealed carry draw 

D.     Demonstrate the techniques of good marksmanship

and much more....

Level 1  Strictly  Pistol Basics

Level 2 and 3 will focus on moving and advanced training , such as drawing from the holster, movement, emergency reloads, shooting from cover, clearing jams in a defensive situation and so much more.

Each level will include 3 hours of range time

Equipment you will need for this course

1.  Semi auto pistol /Revolver
2. Sturdy outside the waistband   holster
3.  Minimum of 2 Magazines 
4.  100 rounds of ammunition is needed per session
5. Eye protection and hearing protection

MANDATORY

A NYS Concealed Carry Pistol Permit License  IS required for this training Course.

ALL FIREARMS ARE TO BE BROUGHT TO THE RANGE UNLOADED AND IN A CASE.

New Jersey NON Resident Civilian Concealed Carry Class

WILL BE SCHEDULED SOON

This  NON resident  New Jersey Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation course is required by the New Jersey State Police for all New York State Residents that have a valid NYS concealed carry pistol permit and are looking to apply for a NON resident NJ  pistol license.  This course will consist of the following topics and much more ....

 A.   Demonstrate the safe handling of a weapon

B.   Demonstrate proper loading and unloading techniques

C.   Demonstrate the techniques of a proper concealed carry draw 

D.     Demonstrate the techniques of good marksmanship 

After passing the range qualification  students will be issued the required  documents that must be  submitted to the New Jersey State Police  for the purpose of applying for a NON Resident NJ Concealed Carry Pistol license.

The range qualification will be completed using the FBI Q target

Equipment need for this course

1.  Semi auto pistol /Revolver
2. Sturdy outside the waistband   holster
3.  Minimum of 2 Magazines 
4.  50 rounds of ammunition is needed. 
5. Outer garment used for concealment. Zip or button up   
6. Eye protection and hearing protection

New Jersey NON Resident Civilian Concealed Carry pistol license Course

Fee   $150.00

STUDENTS PAY RANGE FEE OF $30.00 the day of class

CASH ONLY

Your pistol needs to be in good working condition and be sighted in for accuracy.

MANDATORY

A NYS Concealed Carry Pistol Permit License  IS required for this training Course.

Be sure to bring your pistol permit cards with you to fill out the required

 paperwork
