New York State CCIA 18 hour Pistol Permit License Class

We limit our class to 10 students to ensure everyone receives the proper training,  so secure your spot now.

Scheduled Class Dates and Times

June 6th. & 7th.   2026

Saturday June 6th.  8am. - 6pm.

Sunday June 7th.  9am. - 5pm.

July 11th. & 12th.  2026

Saturday July 11th.  8am. - 6pm.

Sunday July 12th.  9am. - 5pm.

August 22nd. & 23rd.  2026

Saturday August 22nd.  8am. - 6pm.

Sunday August  23rd.  9am - 5pm.

18hr. Conceal Carry Pistol Permit License Class

This is a 3 part program totaling 18hours.

The entire 18hrs. must be completed in person. You are required to pass the multiple choice & true false question test and  the mandatory shooting qualification to receive a certificate of completion as per the NYS guidelines .

C&M Defensive Training has been approved to issue certificates to residents in the following counties

and many more including New York City

Due to the excessive forms required we don't provide training for Rockland County residents  at this time

If you are applying for a Premises only permit or  have a pistol permit and Orange County is requesting that you take a safety class you will need to register for part 1 of our NYS  CCIA Pistol permit License  class. Part 1 is always the first day of the scheduled monthly class .

USCCA Self Defense Firearms Basics

The USCCA Self Defnse Firearms Basics course  is a  beginner- friendly shooting  class  that focuses on safe handling, shooting fundamentals , and the legal mindset aspects of personal protection.

We cover handgun types, operation, and cleaning, designed to prepare students to confidently act as their family's first line of defense.

USCCA Defensive Shooting

 The USCCA Defensive Shooting  course is a  comprehensive, science-based program designed to build essential skills  for armed self-defense, focusing on intuitive shooting rather than just  traditional marksmanship. It covers stance, grip, and techniques that work with the body's natural reactions under stress.

 Key Aspects of the Course:

• Focus: Training for real-world, dynamic, life-threatening encounters rather than standing static on a firing line.
• Core Skills: Covers dry-fire and live-fire drills, including drawing from a holster
• precision balance, and shooting  from retention.

Key Topics Covered:

• Proper stance, grip, and sight alignment for defensive scenarios.
• Movement during engagement.
• Emergency reloading and malfunctions.
• Speed vs. precision balance

To take this course you must have completed the USCCA Self Defense Firearms Basics course or NRA Basic pistol course
